Beskrivelse

Fightin' Words is a collection of essays and articles by W. Hock Hochheim about his life-long, worldwide, and somewhat skeptical quest to uncover the best fighting tactics and strategies. Here Hock reveals what he's learned as he trained and then became a worldwide, highly sought-after and acclaimed fighting instructor. These stories are based on his extensive travel, study and research of the psychology and physicality required to successfully fight criminals and enemy soldiers.

W. Hock Hochheim is a former military police patrolman and investigator; a former Texas patrol officer and detective; former private investigator, who has organized protection and security for famous authors, politicians, musicians, TV and movie stars. Over the last 40 years Hock has studied and taught martial arts and hand, stick, knife and gun combatives earning numerous black belts in multiple systems and certifying countless individuals around the world in his own systems.

Hock has been frequently quoted and has written prolifically about martial arts, psychology, sports, and history in magazines and books. He currently teaches some 30 seminars a year in 13 allied countries. Always the educator, Hock has also authored a very popular blog for more than 15 years, read by tens of thousands, where he is known as an entertaining skeptic and myth buster about military, police and martial arts.
