It's been four years since the incident at the village (Book1: Tail of a Witch) and a new destiny is about to be entwined into the Tail of a Witch mythology. In a research facility a secret experiment is about to take place that will change the life of one of its workers forever. Arriving at work for the night shift in the early hours of Halloween, Jodie is unaware that she will soon have to fight to stay alive as she encounters the horrors that unravel before her. All paths to her escape are locked. Along with a small group of survivors and an encounter with a stranger she must learn to trust, Jodie has to find what is at the heart of the facility and learn why it is the only means to her survival. Can she place her trust in everyone?
