Turkish poet Feridun Zaimoglu (born 1964) immersed himself in the paintings of J rg Immendorff (1945-2007) to write the poems gathered in this volume. In his words, "I disappeared and Immendorff came to life. This is an act of appropriation as metamorphosis. The book can be taken as a poem in 100 parts."
