Fereydoon and the Serpent King

In the ancient land of Persia, sixteen-year-old Fereydoon learns about a prophecy that has him destined to be a hero. According to the prophecy, the boy is to free Iran from the evil Serpent King Zahhak who has long ruled Iran. But before Fereydoon meets Zahhak in mortal battle, he has to learn humility, discover his strengths, and work on his weaknesses. Written and illustrated for children ages 5 and up "Fereydoon & the Serpent King" is a story about resilience and self-reliance.
