Beskrivelse
The ordination of women as pastors have been a contentious issue among Protestants. Certainly, both sides of the issue use the Bible to argue their position, however, it is logical that only one side can be right. Considering this truth, this book, which is based on a doctoral dissertation, explores the role and influence of public opinion and hence non-biblical sources to approve or deny female ordination. It specifically focuses on the role of the secular feminist movement to increase the number of women pastors among Protestants.
