Sara, a self described "successful failure," is a lawyer returning to Topsail Island, NC. This is where she grew up and she returns following a messy divorce to get her head together. With the help of her "best friend forever," Janie, she re-enters the dating scene and life starts to get complicated with mixed signals from her old High School boyfriend who is himself a widower and a successful business man. The two of them come together in a bit of turbulence as her Ex-husband appears on the scene.
