This book recounts the history of the interactions between the American Master, Lee Lozowick and the Indian Beggar Saint, Yogi Ramsuratkumar. It spans the period from 1975 through 2001, following the death of the Beggar Saint. It parallels the work of Lee Lozowick in the US with that of the Indian saint, and catalogs the many similarities in their ways of working. The author has drawn from personal interviews and numerous firsthand sources to bring this treatment together. The Beggar saint's teachings and especially the relationship of the guru and the devotee are the primary focus of this book. In an age in which the guru is looked upon often with ridicule, this book shows the privilege and mystery of such a relationship. The author has included many pieces of Lee Lozowick's devotional poetry to the Beggar Saint, . These reveal a depth of mystical understanding.
