Fate vs Choice

When given the option, would you prefer a fated mate or a chosen one?



I was raised in an isolated pack, far from all the other packs. Fated mates were rare. Growing up, we all were prepared to chose a mate. Then I was given the opportunity to spend some time out in the world, and even found a male who had the potential to be my chosen mate.



But is he really the best choice for me? 



What happens when fate places another mate in front of me?



Do I trust fate to get it right, to let fate control my life? Or do I take control of my future and go with the one I chose? 



Would any of us survive the fall out of that choice?
