Fashion Illustration Now

This title presents the work of some of the top international illustrators from 26 countries and organizes it into three styles. Some are sensualists who work in ink or acrylic, using brushstrokes, layered colour,and textured papers and paints. Others focus on characters: gamine girls with eyes a la Twiggy; or sophisticated elegant figures who carry on the tradition of the 50s diva. Also included in the book is the work of "technocrats" - designers who work on the computer - as well as work from artists' private collections, and international fashion magazines. This work is designed to be a reference guide for media and fashion industry professionals and a textbook for students.
