This is the first book of the Family Love Series based in the 1880s in a small Southern Maine town where Sarena Caldwell and her son are missing and thought to be kidnapped by a ruthless gang called the Dunlap Brothers who have captured countless women and then left them for dead, but never have they kidnapped a woman and her son nor would they have dared.
