Beskrivelse
This work is carried out in order to approach, in a more efficient way, the orientation of families of children with Down Syndrome from 0-3 years old. The research proposes a Family Guidance Manual for the Comprehensive Care of Children with Down Syndrome in the early years, which addresses the general characteristics, stimulating activities and possible questions for parents. It is structured in chapters, preceded by a dedication addressed to the parents in order to get the reader interested in browsing through it. It also has some general advice to parents for the general knowledge of children. This is followed by a table of contents which serves as a guide to the contents of the Manual. This makes it possible to establish, according to the level of knowledge they may have, the selection of the corresponding activities. The manual has been structured in accordance with the methodological requirements established and is based on the bibliographical study carried out. It is also validated by the criteria of specialists in the subject, who made valuable suggestions for the enrichment of the manual.
