Falling Skies

What does someone do when life always seems to give them grief and pain, instead of happy ever after? Tyler Kane always seemed to lose those who were supposed to love him and care for him. His parents were killed, those who were to care for him afterwards abandoned him on the street. Then, his step father, the only person he really remembered and loved was taken away from him. The question was, why? Tyler got his revenge, he thought. However, it turned out that things were more complicated than he knew at the time. In his grief over his adopted father's death he went to a far away to a newly discovered planet in order to be alone to grieve, running from his pain. He needed to discover what to do with his life now that he was completely alone. What he found changed his life forever, and changed the business world in the known galaxy. On the planet, he found something to give him a reason to keep on living and that gave him new hope. He also found the reason for his adopted father's death, while putting his life in grave danger.
