Fallen Peppercorns

In the 1970s, the lives of five young brothers in Ojai, CA are turned upside down as their family unit fractures under the weight of verbal abuse and depression which pulls their parents apart.

 

The brothers are thrust into terrible circumstances, and at a young age are forced to survive without the security traditionally provided by their parents. This true story follows the author's journey as one of those five boys who navigate abuse, homelessness, and trauma as he strives to grow into an adult.
