From the violent murder of an old man in front of a restaurant in Sausalito, just north of the Golden Gate Bridge, to the island of Corsica, and the vineyards of Southern France, Gary Doc Nelson weaves a tale of revenge and vendetta through three historical periods. The murdered man's son uncovers his hidden Falconi heritage, a heritage that his father had tried to hide. He discovers the Gift of his forbearers, from its origin at the time of the Viking expansion in the tenth century, through the time when Avignon was the Papal seat in the early 1300's to Corsica during the Nazi occupation in World War II.
