Beskrivelse
Summers have a strange sort of magic.
Every summer seems to bring a different type of heartbreak, another kind of triumph. Each one blazes before my eyes.
This is 14 poems of me trying to recount the summers of my youth. They are filled with innocence and delusion, fear and hope. They take me to new places, travelling up and down from Georgia to Maine. I am quiet and then I am loud, bursting with reckless love. I burn with nostalgia. I have no idea who I am. I hope I find the right words to describe this feeling someday, the feeling of always being on the precipice of something, but for now I hope these poems will suffice. I have no idea what lies ahead. But I'm trying to live in the present a little more. I hope you enjoy.
