Beskrivelse
Ever since she was a little girl, university student, Dawn Armstrong has suffered from nyctophobia, an irrational fear of the dark and since then has sought professional help, but nothing has worked. Her latest attempt at the suggestion of her therapist is to seek solitude for a few days in one of the cabins in the forest outside her small town of White-Moor Hill. However, all is not as it seems. Lately, anyone entering the forest alone has been attacked and killed by something unknown. Reluctantly Dawn, as her alter ego Fade, is thrust out into a stormy night, having to face not only this threat but her fears as well. Emaleigh Brady, a young journalist eager for her first big story, might have found it in the unsolved disappearances of three university students in the small town of White-Moor Hill. She decides to retrace the steps of the former reporter, Stacey McManus, who'd investigated the story, by going back to the small town. Due to there being no room in the motel, she's forced to stay in a cabin in the forest outside of town. That's where her stay soon becomes a nightmare, when she finds an injured old man near her cabin. Will Fade and Emaleigh survive the night?
