Relationship with God is our utmost desire as Christians. Understanding the Word of God is required for us to appropriate His promises. This book examines the various elements that are essential for effectual relationship with God. Understanding these fabrics enable us to develop confidence in God's personality. As we place trust on His numerous promises for our salvation, this confidence is translated into valid Faith. The cornerstone of this relationship is our Lord Jesus Christ. We acknowledge His deity and accept that He is the only access to the Father. Embracing and acknowledging Christ in a personal manner, therefore, gives us the unique opportunity to appropriate God's grace and mercy. It is only through Him that we can obtain "exceeding great and precious promises; that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust." By accepting his propitiatory death on the cross for our salvation the defenses of the soul are broken down and will no longer impose any barrier to our deliverance and salvation. We start to discern the character of God, when we consent to bring all our thoughts into captivity to the obedience of Christ. We then accept that we died with Him on the Cross. This book therefore goes beyond mere words of fancy to present the elements essential for us to build the required faith to acknowledge that without HIM we "can do nothing".The book also examines the family unit and the issues about marriage. The family is God's plan. He instituted marriage and surrounded it with His ordinance. The family is the smallest unit of the Church, the bride of our Lord Jesus Christ. To succeed in our family life is essential for the type of relationship that Jesus Christ desires with us.The Holy Spirit is presented as the Lord in the Church. He comes with various gifts, which are available to all that are open unto Him. He came to represent Christ. He teaches some of the things that we do not know about Christ. He directs towards the path of rectitude. His gifts to the Church have proven without any doubts that Christ is alive. One of the gifts, Prophecy, has been thoroughly examined in the light of the scripture. The Chapter on Deliverance reveals the root causes of curses. There is actually no curse without a cause. The exposition on demons as the active agent of Satan is quite informing. Demons manifest through compulsive acts and behaviour. However, they can be expelled through systematic follow up procedures, known as deliverance processes. It is relevant to know that everything that is nothing working as it should is a curse that must be broken. When you are free from curses resulting from breaking God's law, you automatically become free from the curse of Satan, as there is no condemnation to them which are in Christ.
