Ezekiel 25-48: 25-48 A Commentary for the Remnant Body of Jesus Christ

The prophet Ezekiel and the book that bears his name is an especially timely study for our day. The theme of the book of Ezekiel is the glory of the Father. God is called "Lord God" over four-hundred times in Ezekiel and God refers to Himself as "I am the Lord" fifty-nine times. Following that theme is the picture of the waywardness of man and the divine response of judgment. While judgment is inevitable when people forget God, restoration is also offered to all who turn back to God. In this sense, God's compassion and mercy provide hope for the future rooted firmly in His covenants and promises.
