Infectious diseases have been declared natural endemics over the years. Mycobacterium tuberculosis disease is considered a re-emerging infectious disease that continues to plague this millennium. The location of Mycobacterium tubercolisis outside the respiratory parenchyma is called extrapulmonary tuberculosis. The high incidence and diagnostic complexity influence morbidity and mortality. Treatment is a particular challenge of Pneumothysiology, in many occasions the moment of diagnosis is late, the form of presentation is serious, threatening the life of the patients or it is detected as a finding in the anatomopathological report, being the basic cause of death.
