"Their Story is our Story" A 60-day devotional journeying with the children of Israel from the night of their deliverance up to their arrival to the borders of Canaan. We marvel at God's miraculous deliverance and his provision, be it the dividing of the Red Sea or manna from heaven. We are in awe of His faithfulness and His patience. But we also take note of Israel's repeated rebellion, we have the Rephidim Riot, and that unforgettable episode with the Golden Calf entitled in the devotion "Calf Gate." As we take note of Israel's failings and their repeated repentance we understand that indeed their story is our story. As the children of God we too have been rescued by a mighty hand from the clutches of the enemy. We too are on a journey, marked by faith and faithfulness, supernatural provision and on occasion rebellion - ok more than occasionally. As you go through this devotion you will be asked to reflect on your own walk with God and recount His faithfulness and be encouraged that our journey in Him is assured as we trust in His character and His promises.
