The history of Southeast Europe was definitely influenced by the structures established in Serbia in the 13-15 centuries. The core of the political expression of Orthodoxy in Southeast Europe was in the Serbian region, and the importance of the structures created here, as a start point cannot be underestimated. Starting with the Ottoman arrival in the Balkan Peninsula, the Serbians fought on two fronts, maintaining balance, balance that was part of history that reached its critical point at a time when the Serbian nobility was concentrated in Srem or Hungary (15-16 centuries).
