Beskrivelse
This collection of eclectic essays focusing on issues of causality, meta-logic, religion's failings and the multi-verse follows my earlier expositions in 'Ruminations in Brane Space' (2011). That compendious (527 page) comipilation of dozens of eclectic blogs posts spanned a vast wide array of topics from UFOs and extraterrestrial life, to solar physics, stellar astrophysics, quantum physics as well as topics in philosophy, politics, climate science and stock market economics - while skewering religious extremism and pseudo-science such as the Mayan 2012 prophecy and astrology. The current book narrows the focus in a major way, confining attention to more recent Brane Space blog posts that addressed pitfalls in logical thinking (Chapter I), such as in the spread of misinformation, disinformation and extending these to defects in reason pertaining to organized religion (in Chapter II). This leads to more esoteric constructs concerning parallel worlds and the multiverse (Chapter III) ending with aberrations related to time in Chapter IV.
