Espiritus Sanctus

Ella, the protagonist of the novel Espiritus Sanctus by Sophie Adams explores various tangents in the capital city of the fictional country Ingle-nook. Spurred on by her thoughts, although they are somewhat suppressed by a medicine, of which the effects are unknown- and that she must take; she travels throughout the city giving a visionary’s account of life’s intoxicating journey.  

Espiritus Sanctus is Ella’s story of exploration against all odds, and one of survival. The book is illustrated by the author with black and white drawings in graphite, charcoal, and pen and ink, depicting various scenes within the book.
