Beskrivelse
The book is a series of analytical essays that argues the preponderance of the Fourteenth Amendment. It discusses the role that the Fourteenth Amendment plays in the Constitution and also elaborates its impact upon American society. The Fourteenth Amendment is an important constitutional right because it establishes the legal doctrines of citizenship in America. The first section of the Fourteenth Amendment is divided into four major clauses. These clauses generated the legitimacy of the Fourteenth Amendment. Nonetheless, the reality of American political culture does not reflect an utter equality among citizens of the United States before the law.
