Episode I

Volume three of Star Wars Episode I The Phantom Menace begins after an emergency landing on the planet of Tatooine. Qui-Gon Jinn, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and one of Queen Amidala's handmaidens make their way to the nearest spaceport to acquire supplies for their ship's repairs. There they meet Anakin Skywalker, a slave boy who willingly helps them barter for parts by entering and winning a Podrace. Unbeknown to the Jedi, the Sith have reentered the galaxy and are the true force behind the Trade Federation's invasion of Amidala's planet.
