Environmental Project Management

: Project Management is a discipline that uses a set of quantitative and qualitative tools to plan and successfully carry out any multi-task, team-based effort to build or create something or to address a complex problem in fields like engineering, construction, and general business. This book addresses how project management tools are used in environmental projects or construction projects in general that have environmental parameters, all of which often entail complex problems of time, space, regulations, and scientific objectives, involving complex teams of participants. Such projects must also deal with difficult monetary constraints and challenges as well, so effective project management is absolutely critical. The authors are seasoned environmental professionals with many years of both academic experience and hands-on real project management experience.
