»Transitions«: The »Festschrift« is a gift of friendship from international and ecumenical companions of the Oldenburg Church historian Andrea Strübind on the occasion of her 60th birthday. The Title Transitions (»Entgrenzungen«) reflects the wide-ranging research activities of the holder of the Chair of Historical Theology at CvO University Oldenburg (Germany), which extends from Reformation and Anabaptist research to international Contemporary Church History, the history of the Free Churches in Germany and the USA, as well as the ecumenical movement and the Civil Rights Movement in the USA.
