Enlightenment

Having encountered the dangers on Earth from the aliens of his father's home planet - Earthen. Teenager Sean Saul experiences first hand this strange and dangerous land via space travel around the Sun. Having been ravaged by global warming and an apocalyptic war - Earthen has redeveloped as a sparse land and its inhabitants holding powers beyond those of its Earth counterparts. Even though advanced technology exist, Earthen has a culture reminiscent of medieval Earth where power, deception, duels and death prevail.
