English Practice Through Film

Toby McGuire and Reese Witherspoon star in Director Gary Ross' fantasy/comedy, "Pleasantville," about two 1990's siblings who become trapped inside a black and white 1950's TV show. The residents of the town seem to have a perfect life until David (Toby McGuire) and Jennifer (Reese Witherspoon) shake things up with social issues such as racism, the freedom to be who you are inside, and freedom of speech. The film has a star studded cast with Paul Walker, Jeff Daniels, Joan Allen, and Don Knotts. PG-13
