Beskrivelse
Bioceramic cements have revolutionized endodontics, offering significant advantages such as biocompatibility, bioactivity and mechanical stability. However, their reprocessing remains a persistent challenge due to their robust adhesion and solvent resistance. The aim of this work is to examine, through an analytical review of the literature, the various bioceramic cement removal protocols and to propose recommendations for effectively removing these materials.According to current data, practitioners are faced with the need to adopt a multidimensional approach, combining different techniques and calling on a variety of specialized instruments to maximize the effectiveness of disobturation, particularly innovative means of activating irrigation solutions. The use of bioceramic endodontic cements may be considered in the future, but more clinical experience and improved reusability are needed to make them the reference standard for obturation.
