Now that they have each other life should be good for Yvonne and Magnus. The odds are not in their favor. Yvonne has survived being attacked, giving birth to twins, and a crazy original. Now her world should be full of peace. It isn't. King Aedan has it in his head to kill her twins or her. Either way he will be happy. She won't take his threats laying down. She decides to save as many originals as she can. They storm the castle and rescue what's left of Aedan's experiments. In the midst of these defiled originals is the creator of all vampire kind.
