Beskrivelse
This collection of old and rare photographs captures scenes from the three villages of Enderby, Narborough and Littlethorpe over the past century. We see people at work and at play, and there are features on the well-known artist Mary Sloane, a visiting African king, and the ancient custom of 'selling the wether'. This book evokes the essence of village life as it used to be and will appeal to both the young and old. The photographs have been borrowed from various sources over a number of years and the authors dedicate this work to all the people from the villages who have given their help so generously.
