A young man awakes, alone, in a strange world and soon realizes he must do unspeakable things in order to survive. After coming to terms with the horrors he must face he decides his best course of action is to band together with others like him. The only problem is that he does not know if such people exit. If he does find allies, his plan is simple. Build an army, find his parents and then save the world. Though this novel is of the horror genre, due to the zombie-like creatures that Brad must contend with, it actually becomes more action-adventure as Brad uses drones to battle the creatures and spy on humans that strive to kill him in order to take his food and supplies. However, the men trying to kill Brad have no idea with whom they are messing or who he will one day become.
