Emily goes to the beach determined to make the best sandcastle. She meets a mermaid, Shelly, on the beach, but she has never seen anyone like Shelly before, so she does not want to play or share her toys with her. Shelly shows Emily that though she is different, she is friendly. They work together to make the most magnificent sandcastle on the beach
