Suddenly we heard the sound of an engine, or engines, in the sky. We looked up and saw a small aircraft. I still recollect the look on his face when he heard, and then saw the plane. I immediately pointed to the plane, and addressing him by name said: Tullie! That is my death. Save yourself ! He hesitated, and I reached to push him out of the van.
