Those memories and experiences during World War II left indelible marks that lay fallow until moving to the United States where encouraged by Los Angeles artists; Chris Burden and Robert Heinecken she begane to explore family dynamics, women's liberation and issues of personal transformation. This book is profusely illustrated with examples of her photograms, photographs, assemblages and paintings providing a detailed retrospective of her life and work.
