Beskrivelse
This is Number 24 of the European Federation of Corrosion Publications dealing with Electrochemical Rehabilitation Methods for Reinforced Concrete Structures. The EFC, incorporated in Belgium, was founded in 1955 with the purpose of promoting European co-operation in the fields of research into corrosion and corrosion prevention. The corrosion of steel reinforcement in concrete is a serious problem on a worldwide scale. The EFC has addressed this problem by forming a Working Party related to the subject. Like other Working Parties of the EFC the main ambition of this Working Party is the transfer of knowledge from research work into practical application and vice versa. considerable contribution. The report is aimed at closing the gap between laboratory testing and execution of these processes in practice. For this reason the information given in the report is valuable for researchers as well as practitioners. Civil or structural engineers involved in concrete rehabilitation work will benefit from the document in designing electrochemical rehabilitation projects; at the same time the contractor will be informed about the durability of the measures and acceptance criteria.
