Elai Nelson and the Storm on the Sand

The second book of the Fire on the Clouds trilogy takes us on Elai's further adventures as he continues to navigate between the warring factions in Karelah, while unearthing more of his past and future destiny. His trusty companion, a talking toothbrush-turned-sword, is always ready to give him unnecessary advice or unhelpful comments, but the friendship between them grows nonetheless. Along the way, Elai has to brave monsters and assassins, and the greatest obstacle of them all - his own fears and insecurities. Awaiting him at the end of the journey is the greatest prize of all - the saving of a kingdom and the many people living there.
