Beskrivelse
The objectives were to determine the physical (PFA), economic (PEA) and social (PSA) productivity, as well as the physical (EFA), economic (EEA) and social (ESA) efficiency of water used in bovine milk production in the Semi-Specialized System (SSE) in Hidalgo del Parral, Chihuahua in 2019. Models of productivity and water efficiency in the agricultural sector were conditioned to the dairy cattle activity of the SSE, feeding those models with production data at the commercial level. The results indicate that the PFA, PEA and PSA were: 0.118 liters of milk per m3 (equivalent to 0.122 kg m-3), USD 0.0052 profit per m3 and 122.6 jobs hm-3, respectively, while the EFA, EEA and ESA were: 8.494 m3 L-1, 193.984 m3 per USD profit and 8,154.635 m3 job-1 respectively. EFA was just 12.4% the world average EFA of 0.979 kg m-3 (equivalent to 1020 m3 ton-1 determined by Mekonnen and Hoekstra, 2012), EAP was 15.5% higher the average EAP of the milk producing SSE of Delicias, Chihuahua, PES was 13.58 times the average PES of the agricultural sector in Delicias, Chihuahua with a PES of 9.03 jobs hm-3.
