Based on the MA dissertation of the same name, 'Education Otherwise Parents' Conceptualisation of Education' details Anna Glews' research into the way parents who choose education otherwise than formal schooling, for example home education, conceptualise and perceive the concept of education. It explores the content, context and conclusions of informal education, particularly within the context of the digital age. In 'Education Otherwise Parents' Conceptualisation of Education' Glews develops further the understanding of the research method - digital ethnography. The research makes use of the available data from home educating families, intentionally shared and intended as being publicly available, particularly via social media.
