Beskrivelse
The main author of this book is my late son Edwin Henry Kuria. Eddie, as he was popularly known by all who knew him, was born in Africa. He was born on September 19, 1984, in Nairobi, the capital city of Kenya. He was an only child raised by a single parent. He was a young man with a vision. Eddie also had a God-given talent in music and all he ever wanted in life was to become a music producer. He was a great fan of the late Tupac Amaru Shakur. Eddie emulated a lot of Tupac's styles and thoroughly enjoyed listening and playing his music. He listened to Tupac's music with a keen ear and encouraged many to listen and take heed of what Tupac's message actually was about. Eddie started playing the keyboard by ear at the tender age of seven and started writing his own poems and lyrics at the age of 12. By the time he was 13, he had developed his own little "home studio" in his bedroom which he nicknamed "Edstudioz Edtertainment." He was a crowd puller and had his own way of making people happy. He was an encourager who always told his family and friends to always follow their dreams and to never allow anything or anyone to deter those dreams. Eddie had a good ear for music and loved to recreate any music that he enjoyed listening to. He would recreate the sound and beats and make them sound exactly like the original composition. His bedroom was always full of his writings and his mother had to keep his room tidy by discarding some of the papers as they sometimes became too overwhelming. Eddie grew up and studied in Nairobi, Kenya. He attended St. Mary's School in Westlands, where he completed his final GCE in January 2002. In March 2002, Eddie came to the United States to visit his mother. She was a psychology major student at the University of North Carolina, Greensboro while also making arrangements to complete his application to join college here in the U.S. He had been accepted at the Guilford Technical Community College (GTTC) in High Point, North Carolina. His area of study was going to be Music Production and Entertainment Technology. His prerequisite exam was scheduled for April 4, 2002 but unfortunately the cruel hand of death took him away just a day before this exam. Those who knew Eddie would attest that this was a young talented man who was determined to achieve his lifelong dream. Like Tupac, he had a premonition that he would die at a young age. His poems and lyrics tell it all and his letters to God or messages he received from God are A MUST read.
