This book aims at presenting Turkish Poems by Nazmi of Edirne who is a famous Ottoman poet lived in the 16th century and wrote poetry in the Simple Turkish (T rki-i Basit) style and in classical style. In this book the text of the biggest divan ever written in Turkish, from the own handwriting of the poet himself, is established. Information on poet's life and his literary personality as well as the information about T rki-i Basit is provided. In the book, Nazmi's Divan is examined in terms of form, content and style. In terms of form, statistical information is provided about the poetry forms and meter. In the conclusive part are our conclusions reached through a study of the poet's life and his Divan. Nazmi was from Edirne (Turkey) and worked as a soldier in the Ottoman Army for many years. This divan consists of 8407 poems, namely 6967 ghazals, 16 qasidas, 7 tarkib-bands, 7 tardji-bands, 524 murabbas, 62 mukhammases, 12 musaddases, 5 musabbas, 5 muthammans, 5 mutassas, 7 muashshars, 23 mustazads, 2 takhmises, 422 mufrads, 51 qit'as, 13 mathnawis and 280 tarikhs.
