Since the day that Tessa met Beth, it feels like she's been torn. Torn between the love for a man and the love for a woman, torn between her religion and her beliefs, torn between Raymond and Beth.

Just as Tessa finally gathers the courage to stand up for herself and confesses to her sexual orientation, things go wrong. She kisses Raymond and Beth leaves her. Tessa doesn't know where she stands with anyone in her life anymore. Raymond is the man she always wanted him to be, Beth left and hasn't shown face again, and her parents are teetering between cutting her off and accepting her.

It's going to take more than just going with the flow to decide where she stands, and she has to decide who she really wants, because no matter which love she chooses, she will lose the other one.
