Beskrivelse
Anchored in an approach more fundamentally linked to ecology, ecosemiotics makes it possible to problematize the question of language, representation and literature in a different way, from a perspective inspired by models of ecology as it develops in the natural sciences. Drawing on the semiotics of Charles Sanders PEIRCE, she insists on the strong idea that the universe is infused with ecological signs. She highlights texts that offer an ecological perspective, particularly on issues such as poaching, deforestation, pollution, protection of fauna and flora, sustainable management of soil, water and air, urban development, quality food, ecotourism, the digital economy, respect for human dignity, sustainable development and eco-humanism. We can therefore see the ecological dimension of such a conception of the sign, conceived as an attribute not only of human communication, but of all forms of communication taking place in the environment.
