Beskrivelse
Wild lavender is a Caatinga species with great potential for exploitation, especially because of its aromatic and medicinal properties. Its cultivation in semi-arid regions, such as the Brazilian Northeast, suffers from environmental adversities, such as water scarcity, which drives the use of low-quality water with high salt levels, which can compromise plant development. Thus, this book deals with the use of a phytohormone to mitigate the effects of salt stress on the ecophysiology of the species, showing results of the effects from germination to physiological parameters.
