Economy of Communion of Chiara Lubich and Microcredit of Yunus Muhammad

The world language currently spoken in the economic sphere emphasizes globalization, sustainability, socioeconomic growth, quality of life among so many other possibilities, demonstrating to the world what has been done for people to have a more dignified life in the capitalist system. However, the economic philosophy preached does not favor these challenges, because the social differences between rich and poor are accentuated. Even in the 21st century, poverty has been a worrying social factor for governments, social institutions and the population itself, which is often bothered by mass poverty, but does little to eradicate it. However, in the midst of this situation, people sensitive to the eradication of poverty are emerging in this contemporary economy, trying to reach out to the whole world, offering the less privileged a new opportunity, a more dignified and just life in the midst of the savage capitalism in which the world economy finds itself.
