Feirin wakes up in a world she doesn't recognize with no memories other than her first name. As she becomes acclimated to her new surroundings, she sees the injustice and the gap between the haves and have nots. But before she can do much about it she is discovered for not having any proper I.D. And soon after she is jailed and then sent outside the high walls to try and survive in a desert wasteland. What happens next is for the reader to find out. Clue is in the title.
