Growing up is never easy, not even in a small Pennsylvania town in the fifties. Harry Morgan has his faults, but he tries. Judgmental but often clueless, he resolutely makes decisions and reluctantly learns to live with the consequences. He has a passion for knowing everyone's business, but he is no snitch.
