Beskrivelse
This sketch looks at three broad areas of life: family, work, and church. Six short scenes, two from each, confront us with the stark contrast between relationships rooted in love and mutual respect and those driven by self interests. The two family scenes contrast a family enjoying the making of memories and the free flow of trust, with one in which trust has been broken by unfaithfulness and addiction. One of the workplace scenes depicts the enthusiasm of two friends embarking on a business partnership, while the other scene shows the once trust-filled partnership dissolving in bankruptcy, bitterness, and blame. The two church scenes contrast the healing impact of a church filled with love, with a church that damages people by preaching graceless morality and judgment. This sketch is uniquely suited to an interactive format, allowing for each scene to be presented at a strategic point during a message. (This was presented Easter 2000 at Willow Creek.)
