Two Indiana teenagers start off on a warm spring day on a simple hike and wind up initiating a series of events that threaten to destroy the North American continent. Matt and Jason Purkheiser become trapped in a strange, underground structure that changes within three days from a sanctuary to an instrument of global destruction. This fast-paced, action adventure uses the setting of a small, quiet Indiana town to probe the possibility of ancient and alien terraforming.
